Last time wearing this one before sending it to Duarte for a crystal installation, sans cyclops. Tried to removed the cyclops by applying heat but was not able to (this is something I have done successfully in the past with other watches). Didn't want to put more heat as I was afraid to damage something else, so o-rings/seals/gaskets will also be checked. I will try to remove the cyclops when I get the crystal back.

Looks great, and now I'm thinking about following in your footsteps. Are you getting the replacement crystal through Duarte, or did you source one on your own?

I have never owned a Pelagos. Though I’m fairly certain that this is your 12th go around with one...

Thanks! Duarte recommended a sapphire crystal from crystaltimes.net, but I'm going to use an oem Seiko hardlex crystal.

Sorry if this is a NOOB question. Who did the custom engraving on the plaque? Was this done by the watch company?

Bad azz BTW.
