Timor's Heritage Field

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Feb 21, 2020 2:22 pm

Did everyone have time to see Timor's new Heritage Field?

I think Poppydog (Steve) touched on their style of watch, along
with the cool type of straps that they use recently.

This company was actually one of the twelve brands (part of the
'Dirty Dozen') to supply the British Ministry of Defense watches
during WWII, and now they are back guys.

With the Heritage Field having a bead blasted 36.5mm stainless
steel case, 50m WR, a domed sapphire crystal, matte black dial
with railroad minute track, beige SLN hands, and markers, and
eithr Hand-wound Sellita SW216, or Automatic Sellita SW260,
plus cool NATO straps also.

Here is a look...

Thanks Tom, I saw the announcement yesterday.

It's a cool watch, but at 36.5mm it's a non-starter for me.

Don't mention it Andrew. :)

You make a really great point. It is going to be too small for a lot of people.
Guess they wanted to keep it as close to the original as they could.

P.S. these crowns do look big though, and like they could add at least a
couple of mm's sir.

You are very welcome Mike. :salute:

Yup, you are right on. ..Just would have been fantastic if it was within that range.

I like it but not sure I’d choose this over the Hammys.

Companies almost need to make 3 sizes for each watch like tag heuer and others did in the old days.

Boy’s , Men’s and Manly just for you bunch.
