No CG love

Post by Lukeeesteve » Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:02 pm

It didn’t occur to me till recently that almost all (less 1) the watches I own have no crown guards. Subconsciously, I’ve been drawn to non crown guard cases. Please share your favorite 1 or 2 favorite pieces.. I would love to see what’s out there.

Here is one of my favorite pieces.

Watches look so much better without them.

Does placement by a lug count as half a crown guard?

I also gravitate towards no crown guards. My GMT may be the only one that I have w guards.

This Longines has a beautiful onion crown...with no guards.

Never considered whether or not I’d buy a watch based on crown guards (or lack thereof).

That’s the watch equivalent of having a big brother
