WRUW SUNDAY 1/19/2020
I'll start a Panerai Homage w/ a Hamilton 917 pocket-watch railroad movement. The movement celebrates it's 100th birthday this year!!!

This cheap dog watch today. Beautiful weather at last, of course with my trusty pal.

^Not getting the fake Panerai love... Is this WUS...???
Anyway, wearing one of my trusty beater Casio “Arnies” to start the day, and will swap to something else for church.

to each his own I suppose but sterile dial no markings of any kind how exactly is it a fake? Unfortunately this was the only case big enough to take the movement. I may add a better movement than Panerai has used in some of their watches

Following todays "theme" I'll, call your "PAM" and raise you a "Sub"
Pile on brothers! (If I was home and could get to it I'd put it on just to rub it in

Whisky has killed more men than bullets, but most men would rather be full of whisky than bullets.

Fresh snow at the town sledding hill. May have to make a beer run when the coffee runs out..

Re: WRUW SUNDAY 1/19/2020
Halios again...
My 2 cents on the PAM homage (though it doesnt matter...since it is just an opinion) is that it is not a fake. We let how many Rolex clones post? Or what about the MKII watches, there was a Paradive yesterday which is a Benrus Type I/II homage. Which by the way I am not opposed to and complimented the owner on it. Or some of the Precistas (they have a Blancpain FF no rad remake). I think the owners PAM homage isn't fake because he didnt try to pass it off as original or Franken with real parts (to my knowledge) in an effort defraud. I would argue it is more custom than homage or fake....
Let him enjoy it, I thought it was a cool use of a hamilton movement.
