Strap Question

Hey all I just got this new Sinn cowhide strap. Does anyone have any advice on how to work it in (besides wearing it all the time), I love the strap but it's a little stiff.

Work it in with your hands, rolling it up and such, don’t bend it, but roll both sides.
Don’t do any oils, creams etc. If it is good leather, it doesn’t need it.
