Welcome to the forum. I think my 16600 is a Z serial as well. It's been a while since I looked at the papers.

Yes I know, I know... I’m old Image . Actually I got my first nice watch Seiko Chrono early -80’s from my parents which I don’t sadly have any more. After that all starterted for me.
