I like it. But I’d expect half the price. 9k for a no date Seamaster with orange lume and a matte dial is stupid. How much do you think it cost them to make this? Then again that’s the way of the watch world today. Waiting for the big pop and fall out.

I think I like the regular Seamaster a lot more, but I like some elements. The titanium case is cool.
Probably a bit too much faux going on here.

I think its pretty awesome. Won't ever be able to afford one unless I win the lottery but still pretty cool!
Re: Coming in 2020. Omega 007 Watch
I dig it. Don’t care much for the 007 stuff, however.

Thanks, just read the article from Hodinkee. This part was interesting:
"Furthermore, the dial and bezel are made from an Omega-specific form of lightweight anodized aluminum and Omega has confirmed that both elements will fade over time"
If this is correct, why not just use a white (or very light cream colored) lume that would degrade (darken) over time (whatever material was used before Super Luminova), then it would all fade "naturally". That would be cool.

Tritium was used before luminova and it is no longer used because it’s (minimally) radioactive.Joeprez wrote:Thanks, just read the article from Hodinkee. This part was interesting:

Ah, didn't know it was minimally radioactive. Well I guess they could come up with some luminous paint that would get darker over time.
I do like the new Seamaster anyways, planning to pick up a blue one next year.

I like it $4000 much. At $9000 you'd have to either be insane or much richer than me.

I like it overall, kinda, but not on the bracelet, and as others have said, bin the HEV. And why titanium? Do it in 316 brushed and reduce the price.

And, if I wanted titanium, the Pelagos is way better value!

Using the Dept of Defence (DOD) broad arrow is a bit cheeky, especially when the watch has not been sourced officially through DOD. At US retail I'm forking out over $13KAUS. Think I'll pass for now.

I think that’s a double-dome crystal, which i don’t recall seeing on a Seamaster before. Looks good.

Ok, the video of an actual watch makes it like it more.
Assuming a 20% discount from AD that would put the nato model @ $6500 USD. A lot for sure, but with grade 5 titanium and the overall feature set, it’s not horrible.

Re: Coming in 2020. Omega 007 Watch
It's not bad, but I'm turned off by the 007 branding and, as others have said, I think the whole thing looks a bit too tan colored. And I've never been a fan of those hands. It'll be interesting to see in the flesh, though.
Re: Coming in 2020. Omega 007 Watch
I missed the titanium. That’s a cool upgrade but does not justify the price.
So this may be a dumb question, but is this case the same size and dimensions as my 2254? Or is the new seamaster case bigger?
If it’s the same size as the original seamaster case that’s really cool being Ti and double dome crystal.
Now imagine a no date 2254 dial and hands in that case with double dome sapphire.

Re: Coming in 2020. Omega 007 Watch
Agree, if I wanted a Ti watch I would check the Pelagos first (at around half the price). Don't want to start a WUS type discussion, but do you say that because of brand recognition (rolex vs omega)? What Rolex model would be comparable to this Omega watch?
In my opinion the current PO is superior to the current Sub (completely off topic, apologies to the OP). Do you also think that the Daytona is 2 or 3 times better than a Speedy? I agree that Omega (as well as Seiko) have good and bad offerings, but Omega has been improving their sport lines in the last years (better co-axial movement every year, new materials, the METAS certification), while Rolex is mainly fucking up their own ADs by apparently lowering production.
