The date version would look a million times better with a white date wheel.

I really like the profile on it. It sits really nice and flat on the wrist. I too would prefer a non-ghost logo. The crown and bezel both are smooth and precise action. It’s overall a very nice watch, definitely a notch above the brand’ prior offerings.

This is the one I want. Classic.
Re: New Karlskrona Hemlig Prototype - Studio Photos and Review
Man I want this too- no date and I’m mixed on bezel. Love dive but the OG was the 12hr.
I may get it and see who wins with my paradive. If it’s lighter weight it’ll prob win, as that’s my only gripe against this paradive.
If you did a type two dial- count me in!
If you do a Benrus homage you HAVE to do both dials!

I wore it on canvas today and it was a great match for it. It looks really good. Todd’s best watch yet

Brice- I wear mine on canvas almost exclusively - my mkii version. It is the most comfortable because of the weight.
Can you weigh it for us? I’d love to see how heavy it is as that would help me with my decision.

Gents, if any of you are considering one of these, please let me know as my Preorder email list is filling up and I will be closing it as some point soon.
I will also be making another donation to the Make a Wish Foundation in the name of DWC for watches sold to members here.

can you comment on the weight of the prototype, and will the no-date version be included in the preorder, or will it come at a later, a'hem, date?

Re: New Karlskrona Hemlig Prototype - Studio Photos and Review
Placing my preorder today and I'm hoping the crown on the production model will be flushed with the asymmetrical case (like the Benrus and MKII). I dislike how it sits currently, it's over-sized and a protuberance. More importantly, the case was designed to be a crown guard. So that design element is gone when the crown sits past the case.
Re: New Karlskrona Hemlig Prototype - Studio Photos and Review
On Instagram I've asked Todd: "Will the crown be flush with the case on the final watches? It’s confusing that the renders don’t match the prototype studio shots. This way it’s not quite clear what you’re ordering exactly"ktran58 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:42 amPlacing my preorder today and I'm hoping the crown on the production model will be flushed with the asymmetrical case (like the Benrus and MKII). He replied: "Yes. That is one of the refinements fir the production watches."
I'm on the fence now... I don't need another watch, but this one looks intriguing and seems to be a lot of watch for $395. This or the Raven Solitude... Decisions, decisions...
Re: New Karlskrona Hemlig Prototype - Studio Photos and Review
That's good to hear because judging from the other offerings from Karlskrona (on their website) like the baltic and nordic, which both have an asymmetrical case, I was worried the crown would be oversized and positioned beyond the case. I do hope the final product will be like the render and be completely flushed.Fiery wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 1:50 pmOn Instagram I've asked Todd: "Will the crown be flush with the case on the final watches? Purchase was a no brainer for me. It's hard finding a benrus type 1 diver nowadays and no way I'm paying 1000 for a MKii paradive with a Seiko movement. $395 and 300m rating? Can't beat that. If you don't end up meshing with it I don't think it would be hard to flip and recoup what you paid for it. Best homage I could find was the Dagaz Cav-1 but those are super hard to find and they're selling for 450+ when they do come up.
