Thanks pal, the dial is hard to capture in a photo. Satin black that reminds me of the SD4k, but I bit more flat. The markers jump off the dial.

Thanks Hop. Rane of Shadowwatchmaker did the patina on the dial, hands, and bezel. He didn't ask for any "special favors" so not sure if this is Terry's guy.

That bezel patina is amazing. I attempted it once with bleach but stopped well before I got there. I saw so many that looked patchy or started chipping and it scared me into stopping but this is what I wanted to accomplish.

with the gs on zulu, fist quick glance is reminiscent of the lug profile of the nd ceramic sub.

Sub is en route to RSC. One end link is too narrow, leaving movement that I didn’t like. If I still have this GS when the Sub returns I’ll do a comparison shot.

The Sub is a “large 40” and this GS is 43.5 but similar in design.

Sure did about a week ago. Quick polywatch and my glasses cloth. Not sure if there’s a better method but can’t see any marks without light reflection.

Definitely wider, but I think height is about the same @ 13mm. Because it’s wider it sort of feels flatter.

The lug holes are low in the lug, resulting in the top of the case/lug appearing much higher than the strap, therefore giving it a thicker appearance (think Black Bay).
