Niagra Falls - lots of pictures

Post by rockmastermike » Sat Sep 21, 2019 11:46 am

Was in Buffalo earlier this week for business and took a couple of trips over to Niagra Falls with the Oak & Oscar Humboldt and the Omega SM300 MC

Cool (literally). Bet it was nice getting away from the Georgia heat and being near that waterfall!

Weather was great relative to 100* & Humidity aka: air that you wear

Actually flying to London this weekend and while it’ll probably rain at least it will be cooler temps

Awesome

I’ve been there in winter... froze my ass off.
I was definitely under dressed for the weather at 4 degrees with wind chill

Looks like you had great weather

Are there still lots of bars on Chippewa St? I haven't been to Buffalo since '97 (business trip). Did you go to Mints (Canadian side)? Lots of talent there then; has gone downhill accoridng to Yelp.

As for food it was Gabriel’s Gate, Duffs, Anchor bar and 716 bar

Made it to London - staying near Waterloo station...if that means anything to anybody

Was there last summer. Hadn't been since I was a kid. Canadian side was cool; US side kind of a dump. And I wasn't enamored with Buffalo. Anchor Bar was a letdown IMO. The Falls themselves are incredible. Took my U1P and it was up to the Maid of the Mist challenge.

The Canadian side is way nicer

Yep the falls is quite an attraction. A very cool natural wonder. I've been there many times, it is only about an hour away from me, (I'm in Rochester NY). Dave is right, the Canadian side is nicer. The USA side has become so commercialized.

Great pics Mike
Sorry you've flown straight into typical English weather here though. It was hot & sunny here on Saturday but I guess you missed that.
