New Oris Big Crown Propilot X Calibre 115

Post by r.palace » Thu Sep 05, 2019 8:21 am

I actually really dig it.

Nice to see Oris “show off” and release a piece like this

Price tag is a bit steep. Even more $ than the similar Tag Heuer Grey Phantom (which I prefer).

Maybe these Propilots will hit JS at half off Image

wow - that is really cool. Not my usual cupa' but I like that one.

Let's see... half off for you, then resale a couple of times... I might be able to afford it then? :)

These look amazing, and what's great, is Oris fans can probably expect
to see some of these ideas within their regular watches also. Kind of like
how concept cars often preview ideas that will be in every day cars.

Thanks so much for the look sir !

I don't think there is much that Oris does wrong. Great brand, I have 2 and this piece looks great. The bracelet looks particularly good, especially the clasp. It looks very tactile. For an innovative in-house movement they come in at a great price point. I like the pro pilot range a lot, my only issue is the 44mm cases on them. I can get away with some 44mm watches bit these do wear big.
Otherwise I think it's a great watch

I really like this. Oris does some pretty cool things (I like the depth gauge a lot).

I will have to put this one on the radar.

It's unique and cool, if people are calling this pricey, what's a sub @$8k?

A 10-day PR is probably one of the least interesting movements to skeletonize. It's all mainspring!

And they decided to take the skeleton bridge design from the zenith defy. And then priced it as an omega.

I kind of like it in a nerdy kind of way. Like those weird ass watches Wu has been wearing lately.

Different. I will give Oris that. I wouldn’t buy it, especially at that price though.

I dig it and would wear it. The bracelet looks exceptionally cool! Maybe next year I can find a minty used one at 60% off list.
