Congrats Matt
Is it the same case size as the original ? I remember the first time I saw a issued Heuer bund for sale in person at a NAWCC Pasadena regional and wanted one since seeing it. I just bought a vintage omega speedmaster so no money to buy it. Just love the design of these so built up funds and got one. Sinn did a great job on these enjoy it. Mite wear my Heuer a little more often. There such a cool design.

It does not, movement is the Sellita SW510.

I was super close and had it in the cart the night before (when they were available) but it’s good I didn’t do it since I’d have expected to nato it.
Might be better on your wrist, but it’s a no go on mine. Maybe I’ll try a perlon eventually. For now, I put it on a thinner rubber.

Tan canvas or leather would look great Matt:

You’re right. Tan rally would be great. Lug clearance is a bit tight though.

Don't think it can get any nicer than that Matt, and actually think the star
adds a cool element to the watch, and that the NATO looks great here sir ! 8-)
Everything about the watch just works when you think about it, and how
about the color of the dial, and bezel?! ..It's like this charcoal gray with
black, and maybe even brown within it.

Really looks Sinnsational Matt ! A giant congrats to you there !!!

Original photos made the dial look much darker.

Does it truly have a 51mm L2L?

With that case back, this will not be a NATO watch for me.

Congrats Maatt!
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Not sure about L2L, but it doesn't feel larger than 51mm. The dial is definitely black, but the matte finish makes it appear grey in certain light I think.

This quick one from last night makes both dial and bezel look dark black.

The Dark Star looks awesome but, if you missed out and want something similar while you wait for Matt to flip his, Guinand has something they call the Starfighter Pilot Chronograph. Pretty nice looking as well...
