Hey, go easy on them. I'm sure licensing the Velcro strap from Apple wasn't cheap.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

$50K WTH I may only buy Sinn's in the future but even some of Sinn's prices are getting silly. So I could either get that Omega or get a MB GLC300 ugggg

Cool tech and looks good. Really pricey, but a bargain when compared to Richard Mille, and I don't have to struggle to read the time.

Exactly. RM came to mind too when I saw the weight, but damn, at $10k maybe but $50k, she better be a 10, sleep over and do things that I’ll be talking about on my death bed in the retirement home!

My Apple watch at least gives me range to the green. This Omega may be innovative but utterly useless on the course. Strap is nice though...

I need to get an Apple Watch just to use with Golfshot Plus.

Then again; the distance to the green is always “too far”

I guess I’d respect Omega more if they at least gave it a unique dial & handset. The Aqua Terra look is already over used with so many models.

I just think it’s ugly. The AT has gone from elegant to tacky looking. Just like with RM and MB, I don’t really give a shit about the tech inside if the outside looks shitty.

Wow; just really bizarre, especially since it is not that light compared to other ti watches. I do think the crown is cool, but seems like something that can easily break.

Prob is someone in the market for a RM won’t pick the cheapo (to them) omega AT...not gonna happen

I really don't see that as a "problem." Most people can't afford either. If a rich person likes the look of the AT and thinks the tech in this one is cool or they just wants to spend a ton on a watch that looks good to them, they may pick this. If they have their heart set on an RM, they'll go with that. It's only watch geeks like us (me) that would make the comparison between this AT and an RM because of the weight issue. They're not aesthetically similar at all.

Plus, I figure Omega knows they're not going to sell a ton of these. Something like this is as much about providing some general brand hype as anything else.

price seems utterly absurd, even if you like the watch...

just what Omega needs, a regular production model that only Rory can afford

It’s ugly and expensive, but that’s not the point. It’s marketing.

It seems like a $50K solution looking for a problem. I can't honestly remember ever strapping on one of my watches and wishing it was a lot lighter
