Only for the ease of a local find. I’ve a few friends who’ve already done workarounds, so worse come to worse I’ll have to order something or have the case drilled. The real dream would be an OEM...but that would be a lightening strike :)

Got the watch back with the crown fixed and proceeded to do a light bezel cleanup as some of the original numbering popped out when the case was on the lathe. I decided to just do this and leave all else original. I dig the wabi knowing the provenance.
