Rediscovering DWC

Post by Cabaiguan » Tue Aug 06, 2019 4:17 pm

I’m usually on TRF and lurk around WUS but all the Rolex hype has really started getting to me. Nice to have this forum and actually read posts on what we like about the hobby and not dwell on the BS.

Not sure I know who runs this joint but a hearty thanks from me on keeping it going.

Welcome back. TRF has sucked badly for a long time, but I popped in recently and amazingly it sucks even more now. It's Padi (whatever his name is) muttering in the corner about "so called... whatever" and the owner doxing people who disagree with him.

Both my parents are from Cabaiguan. Visited there in 2004 when I still had cousins living in Cuba. They’re all in USA now.

Sup dude - stay for a spell; this place rocks. Matt Wu is the boss... hope you don’t get stuck paying the same dues I’ve been paying for years. Some of the mods want personal checks, but some will take money orders ;)

It’s comfortable. I personally don’t post a lot, but have been a member since the beginning (and even before on Y3). But pretty much the only forum I check on a daily basis nowadays.

We've been waiting for you  You've only been gone for 3 years but great to see you back again. It's hard to believe DWC has been going from strength to strength for 10 years now.

Lol. I’ve always lurked around but most of my interactions were on other boards. Like I said, less BS here.

Don’t you usually have to pay a guy to do that?
