New Arrival - Co-Axial Speedy

Post by Dedalus » Sat Aug 03, 2019 6:07 pm

I've been a terrible DWC member of late, absent for some time. Sorry
I guess life has a way of sometimes impeding our enjoyment of the more important things, like watches and dildo jokes.

Anyway, this arrived last week, not for me but for Lawrence's 21st.
Needless to say I'm a proud dad -- Talia turned 7 the day before Lawrence turned 21, that's the third wrist in the last pic -- and the Speedy was a huge hit with Lawrence genuinely shocked and excited (he'd always coveted my 2254, but at 39mm this is a better size for his small wrist).

Pics coming in just a moment...

That is super cool, thanks for sharing! Thats a fine watch for him.

Today my 10 year old asked me for a watch box for his Casio and Timex watches. Guess he will also become a WIS, same as your kid.

Also my daughter has the same pink Casio :)

Thanks for the comments, hugely appreciated.
Yeah, 21 already, not sure what that makes me, rather not dwell on it.
Please ignore the mess in the background...

This year has been a little crazy: Spent $15k on a new roof; looking at several thousand more on some other 'minor' home improvements; we're off to Fiji in a week and half for a family holiday; Lawrence's 21st present and party (with 60 of his closest friends)...
So had to put an intended new watch for me on hold for now. BUT...I'm starting a new job at the University of Otago at the end of this month and intend to celebrate with a new piece. So all will be ok.
