I was once a longtime lurker until my neighbor told me to stay away from her window.
No, it's not Tourettes.

Totally agree.
The BOD is relentless on other newbies but the ban was appropriate here.

F that for sure..toxicavenger wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 7:37 pmthis dude was modding replica watches. looks like he has been doing it for about 8 years. fuck that
Just funny how we were all getting along and he just dropped the "yeah I mod reps" line after you guys asked him about it... Just floors me that people are ok with the fake watch industry.
I'm pretty much a 'live and let live' type, but I just can't wrap my brain locker around dealing in flat out fakes... I'm ok with all those micro companies who copy designs and put their own name on them; at least one knows what he's buying. But a few years ago I was at a country club and counted dozens of Rolex subs being sported. I suspect a considerable percentage of them were fake with the owners having no idea - that is pure thievery.

My brother-in-law loved fake watches. Every time he said he was going to buy a fake, I bought him a real watch and enjoyed a little watch talk. He gave up the addiction.

For what it’s worth, he messaged me on IG and apologized for the commotion. He was very gracious about it.

That is really cool. Hell he might be a great dude. But damn who wants to have any affiliation with a guy who mods/makes replica's

I do not believe so. Hell it looks to clean. And something is up with the bezel pip. It looks plastic? Maybe I am over thinking it.
Replica guy posting here. Admits he modded Panerai's. Tons of google history building replica's. Posted janky ass Ploporf saying it is legit. Dial turned 180 out on it.

I kind of think his PP is legit. But, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Re: Long time lurker
I found this while researching vintage Ploprofs awhile back. I obsessively study everything about a watch before buying it, and the Ploprof has been on the list for a few years. It comes from ploprof.com.
Doesn’t mean his watch is real, but over the years, I’ve seen a couple watches listed in this configuration.
