Interesting story, but this link on the news story's page makes me wonder about some people in Canada's sanity:

Haha I saw this on the news yesterday and when I saw all the rolex watches in the table I laughed and said the same thing “that’s where they all went”

LoL

HUGE bust for sure.

I realize Andrew is joking, but I do think that a nontrivial amount of Rolex (and AP and PP) watches are used as money laundering devices. Nobody would look at you twice if you traveled with three or four watches (worth anywhere from $40,000-$400,000) in your bag. You could never do that with cash.

I thought all the Rolex watches were being “safeguarded” inside hooker vaginas. I was about to start “shopping” at those “boutiques” in hopes of finding a Submariner that was forgotten way in the back.

See also Jaquet Droz, Franck Mueller, etc etc. How else do these brands stay in business?

Did you check “in the back”? That’s where the hard to get stuff is often kept.

Can’t wait till October so that dbag can get voted out. It’s been a very painful 4 years to watching him flush this country down the toilet
