Edox's SkyDiver
Edox's SkyDiver
Not sure if everyone had a chance to see the Edox SkyDiver yet.
This watch evidently pays tribute to a special, or secret watch that was
made for a Swiss colonel, and his mountain paratroopers back in 1973.
With the new watch having details like a 42mm stainless steel case, 300m
WR, sapphire crystals, nice diver's bezels, and dials with Super-Luminova
coated hands, stainless steel bracelets, and leather straps, and Caliber 80
behind a neat case-back too.
Just a few pictures...

Let’s count the ways I hate this:
1. Mercedes Hands
2. How many different fonts are used? 4? 5? All terrible as well.
3. Self Winding is two words, not one.
4. Polished center link bracelet.

Yeah, the fonts are horrific.

I guess the Swiss Colonel couldn't afford to get a Tudor or Rolex for his troops.

I just noticed this before I saw your post and was looking at the pics again. I guess that’s number 5...JP Chestnut wrote:Piss lume dial and white lume hands? Do these guys even try?
In all seriousness though, they should fire everyone and start over. Who looked at this and said “yeah, we got a winner here.”

They already had sub clones in 1973?
Re: Edox's SkyDiver
Yup, really wish Edox would have done a few things differently with these
too guys. ..Imagine if they had come up with some new cool hands that
we haven't seen?! Or eye-catching yet classy markers?!
Even a different bezel, or slight change up would have been terrific to see.
Right?!

The only good thing I can say about that watch is that (I assume) it tells time.
