There was also a bit of push back against his contrarian opinion on watches that he seemed to be pumping online.

Basically, there were issues negotiating the “industry guy” versus “watch guy” balance, he got called out, and didn’t react well.

IIRC the last stand was a dustup over that company that mods new Rolexes and sells them for $20k (can’t remember the name).

Never met Adam and he wouldn’t know me if I was standing next to him, but good for him for being recognized like this. It’s great that someone could turn this crazy hobby into what appears to be a very lucrative and viable career. Living the WIS dream.
