Recommendation on buying a Cartier?

Post by deepcdvr » Sun Jul 07, 2019 10:23 am

My very rich brother in law is looking to buy my sister a Cartier Panthere for their anniversary. He doesn’t mind going retail and lives in DC so I’m sure he has options but he asked me, as the family watch geek, if I had any tips or suggestions. I don’t, but thought someone here may?

Thanks in advance!

Buy a quartz if available. Women don’t want to deal with automatics.

Tiny Jewel Box on Conn.ave. I like the sales people lol.

Got my wife's Pasha (auto) and tank (quartz) serviced at the boutique when it was open in Friendship Heights. No issues. She wears the Pasha more but never ever sets it. Barely touches the tank.

I think the only boutique in the area is the one in Tyson's.

I bought my wife’s quartz Tank at Tysons II, and they gave a nice discount. That was probably pre-boutiques.
