Longines Legend Diver for small wrists
I know the Legend Diver has been available in a 36mm size for a while, but Longines has just released a new tropical dial version.
Now if they'd just do it in 42mm with no date...

Wow, that is so nice Andrew, and actually is extra authentic with that vintage
size, and then new dial style too ! ..It's really cool to see Longines coming up
with even more ways to enjoy this beauty, and I bet that no date 42mm model
isn't too far away either.
Thanks so much for the news sir ! ..Hadn't seen this one !!!

Still waiting for a 42mm with 50mm L2L. But we know that will never happen.

I want to like it, but I’d prefer a no date version.

Really 36mm not bad. I remember years ago on this forum when Longines started remaking these and a lot of forum members owned them never heard any one complain about the size. Maybe buy a 36mm watch some thing that don't cost a lot and test drive it for a week and that size mite not look bad and you will have more choices for the collection in different sizes. You mite be surprised.

that's a handsome watch. Would be better w/o the date, but not a deal breaker

I like that, would probably look nice due to the long lugs.

I bet the perceived wear is like a 37-38mm with the overall case, crowns, and lug dimensions. Have any of these come up on the secondary market because that’s key in trying one on the cheap?
Seems like a good one for Jacob and Andrea to try for a bit to get out of that 36mm explorer dry spell, but only if these are available secondary for a song. Hell, I might be interested.

Dunno why they can't get the proportions right on this. Either too small, or too big, or too whatever.

Same with the Mido Captain Cook. I think that’s 36 or 45 mm. How about 40?dinexus wrote:Dunno why they can't get the proportions right on this. Either too small, or too big, or too whatever.
