Has anyone checked out Orient's Kamasu Diver by chance?
This new model has a 41.8mm stainless steel case, 200 meter water resistance,

Looks good. I have a blue Mako and a black Ray. I'll pick up the green Kamasu if I can get it for around $80 or less, like I did on the other two.

These do look good and I reckon just as much of a value as the trusty SKX.

Re: Orient's Kamasu Diver
all the orient divers are really good gateway divers. a little dressier than most divers, so reasonably suitable as an only watch for most people and inexpensive enough to take a flier.
Re: Orient's Kamasu Diver
These really do seem impressive, and have that whole Seiko feel with
quality, and bang for the buck. It's just fun trying to keep up with all
the new Orients as of late really right?! Seems like every year they
add so many cool models to their line-up, and have so many versions
of each model as well.
Glad that you guys liked them, and hadn't seen them just yet !

Orient is a great budge watch. With the short lugs & 41mm case, they are perfect for my tiny wrist, In the past, I enjoyed them for work and I've had an eye on this one.

Re: Orient's Kamasu Diver
Gateway is a good way to describe Orient... I find it hard to go backward now and would much rather get a Seiko, but have recommended them to friends and family. The one my buddy bought for his father (forget the reference but SARB equivalent) was exceptional for the perceived value and had me rethinking getting one.
Often thought about finding one of their moonphase watches just so I could play with that useless complication some. The Orient Star RK-AM0001S moon phase is a looker for sure and moon phase bargain.

Just wish they had solid end links on them.
