Oris's Blue Whale Aquis Chronograph

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:48 am

Has anyone checked out the new Oris Blue Whale Aquis Chronograph yet?

It's actually the third of three watches, and is added to the Clean Ocean, and
also Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition III. With specifications that include a
45.5mm stainless steel case, 500m WR, sapphire crystal, blue ceramic bezel
insert, and 60 minute diving scale unidirectional rotating bezel, gradient aqua
blue dial with Super-luminova coated hands, and markers, nice bracelet, and
Oris Caliber 771 automatic too.

Have a few pics...

Thanks Tom - cool piece. I can’t do blue, though... Also, I’ve owned a few Oris watches and the proprietary strap options are too limiting for me. Beast watches if you’re not a strap Hoe like me ;)

I like the look, and the blue looks good. It’s just the 45.5mm diameter that makes me pause.

That has been my biggest gripe with them over the years even though they make some sharp looking watches, I just can't pull the trigger because of that reason alone.

Nice, but not $9,650 nice. That's the MSRP of the boxed set. It's not for sale separately.

Don't mention it Paul, and sorry about the blue theme, and strap thing.
Best thing to do with these is just look at the pics. At least that is what
I do sir ! :)

Oh yeah, and like Paul (pbj204) pointed out, would be neat if Oris actually
sold this new model separately. ..Wonder if they might do that down the
road possibly.

Thanks a ton as always for your two cents everyone !!!
