One minute you're watching James Bond re-runs, and the next you're spending your kids' college money.

Good morning Image and TGIF. It’s been a long short week.
I am wearing the Limited Edition Farer Lander II #2 on the Farer blue rubber, which is very nice btw.

Thanks, I like it a lot more than I thought I would. Got in trade and was meant to be a catch and release but it will stay a little longer before it’s released ...... catch/enjoy/release

I’ve found those stainless steel mesh thongs to be uncomfortable.

Cool photo, great watch.

I know I'd like to think of myself as above the influence of marketing, but I can't help but be drawn toward Omega after watching Bond movies as well.

Oh, absolutely. The Bond movies make these watches look really good.

And I do like the watch. It's a good looking, unique design that fits me well. I enjoy these pre-coaxials, before Omegas got crazy thick.

If I can find an unpolished 2225.80, I'll rebuy that as a keeper. My first nice watch.

(though that was one of the thick pre-coaxials)

I frequently think about flipping my PO2500D for a Non-AC Seamaster, but I haven't seen a mint/complete/unpolished one of those in a while.
