Local Omega Dealer 40% to 50% off

Local Omega dealer is dumping the line (along with Tag Heuer) as they are focused on Rolex, Grand Seiko and are now bringing in Sinn and C.H Moser.

Anyhow, all the Omega's and Tags are 40% to 50% off. The juicy models like the Speedy Pro's and SMP's are gone but they do have a decent stock of Railmasters, Blue Side of the Moon, SMP Chrono and various other models that are not overly popular. Also noticed some Carrera Chronos in the Tag display case.

If anyone wants me to look at anything for them, let me know as they are across the street from my office. Figure 50% off plus your strong US Dollar vs our Canadian monopoly money could make for a deal if you wanted one of the less popular models.

I definitely saw a gold Globemaster in the case. They might have had steel ones but I didn't really pay attention. Which models are you looking for and I'll pop over there today on my lunch as I'm taking a guy from the office with me who wants to buy their first good watch.

I'd be curious to see if they have either blue or white dial on either the bracelet or leather and what the OTD $$ would be. Don't go out of your way, but if you're already over there I'd appreciate it. Gold ain't in the cards for me.

I'll check today. According to the Omega website, the MSRP is $8,900 CAD on bracelet and $8.500 CAD on strap..

So, assuming that one is 50% off , it would be $4,450 plus 5% sales tax = $4,672 CAD. Converted to USD would be $3,461 USD. No clue how that compares as I've never paid attention to what those sell for.

I'll pop in today and get back to you on what they actually have left.

That's a good question and I never thought about it. There used to be a Sinn dealer in Toronto a few years ago, so perhaps Canada is a grey area?

Only Speedmaster is a blue side of the moon at 40%. They have a '57 speedmaster in a box but it's on consignment and not a part of this clearance sale.

Pretty slim pickings.

The only Globemaster they have left is a steel/gold bezel version. No steel only left.

They have 2 decent Aqua Terra models left. Slate Grey Dial/horitzonal lines with blue hands on bracelet and a white dial with vertical lines on bracelet for 40% off.

No, the Heuer Monaco and Autavia's all sold within an hour when the sale started. I heard a couple of guys bought multiple desirable watches right away so I suspect all the Speedy pros, SMP's, Monaco's and Autavia's didn't last long. I also believe some of the juicy models were only 30% off vs 40% and 50%
