New Fortis PC-7 Team Aeromaster Editions

Post by AtomicTom » Fri May 10, 2019 11:09 am

Has everyone had time to see Fortis's PC-7 Team Aeromaster Editions?

Helping to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Swiss Air Force aerobatics team.
The two new watches have details like 42mm stainless steel cases, 200m WR,
domed AR coated sapphire crystals, blue dials with luminous hands, along with
markers, COSC certified ETA Valjoux 7750, or 2836 automatic movements, plus
Cordura straps, and steel bracelets.

Some pictures for you...

I dislike those screw in plates on the case side. Other than that I like it.

I like this one! Great LPP chrono alternative.

I'm an absolute sucker for air shows, though... Volunteered once years ago wearing a division hat in shorts and Birkenstocks getting adults and kids into a parachute harness just outside the C17 display. Adults I took seriously after reading them being careful not to touch their bits and pieces, and the kids as a photo op because the packed chute would practically knock them over. We had one packed with foam for them.

I'd rather buy a crappy micro than either of those. Even a secret club wouldn't change my mind.

Those plates on the side do catch the eye Chris, but I wonder if maybe on the
actual watch they seem a little smaller maybe. Liking the way they have
the planes on the dial though, and somehow upped the aviation feel overall.
Looks like a nice blue also !

Eric, great story by the way ! :) That must be so fun really ! Never been to
an air show before. Would be incredible I bet. ..Just seeing videos amazes !

Jacob, will try to do better next time sir.

Gotta try for one someday.

Usually involves suncreen, lawn chairs, an interest in jet noise, and being situationally aware as possible as accidents ha e happened.

Will do Eric.

It's funny, I remember my younger brother getting a chance to see one years
back, and him saying how awesome it was. So can imagine how they actually
are today ! :headbang:

Thank you sir !
