Not something you see every day, but definitely went about a minute too long. Got kinda gratuitous and cheesy with the IG handle shout out and the "you take the best pics on the internet".

For the newbs, BZ used to post very regularly here, but I think IG keeps him busy these days. I swear that guy posts more comments and replies than anyone else on IG. It's like he's got his own PR team

That is very cool.
Not to sound like a dick- but last year I did an IG cleanup and unfollowed a lot of people. I remember unfollowing him because he posts way too many pics in one day.
I just looked at his followers. Shit. I mean how does that happen? You just post a ton and comment on others? Seems like a full time job.

Just looked at the dude’s feed and saw he did the liver of sulfur fuming to artificially age a Bucherer Black Bay bronze. To me that’s like using bleach to fade an old Sub bezel to get a more vintage look.

Seems right in line with artificially aging your bronze watch.

I noticed an old forum friend with just a few hundred followers had over 3,000 likes on an average photo after just 15 minutes the other day and figured out he was paying for likes.

Sad what society has come to.

I don't understand IG. It's the first bit of social media that makes me feel old. I've tried it out a few times, but it never sticks. One of my students told me that the browser version of IG sucks, but the App is good - maybe that's my problem.

I like IG. Quick easy, see pics im interested in, stories etc, no bullshit commentary for the most part. I'm more consuming content there though versus posting. Facebook is a mess of shit, feelings and garbage. Only thing I like about fb is seeing latest with family and friends.

That's the problem. I can't find the content. Do you search for it, or is it all being posted by people that you "follow"? IG seems like what FB was when I first joined (when it was just a bunch of kids from top American Universities).
