Sticky Pelagos
I took my Pelagos on a boat and then in the ocean!! It got rinsed at some point but the next day the bezel was sticky. I soaked it and it was fine.
Today (weeks later so probably unrelated) it was sticky again, a few turns and it’s now back to normal.
I’ve looked on line but can’t get a clear answer, does anyone know if the bezel is easy to remove and clean?

I’d just hit it with some diluted dish soap and then rinse it really well.
Re: Sticky Pelagos
Not what I thought this thread was about.
That said, it happens sometimes on a Pelagos. The tight tolerances are likely a contributing factor, which makes me appreciate the Sinn U-series bezels a little more.
Not likely an easy on/off with the Pelagos. I believe they use the ball bearing system so it could be a remove and see dealer situation. I would stick with the soak-rinse-turn method.

Also, shoot some windex in the mixture. It helps it to rinse off more fully.

Floss string works great as you wash it to remove the stubborn tiny piece of sand got example

Soak it in a bowl of warm soapy water and swish it around. Work the bezel whilst doing it.
Prevention: take it off before youre the center of the next 10 man bukake.

Dont try to remove it if Tudor is using their plastic washer system (like the one on the Black Bay models). The bezel can come off easily enough prying it with a butter knife, but it is not possible to put back on due to the washer. It will require a new washer and specialized equipment instead. Progress is not always improvement.
