Their choice for a modern homage to the GG-W-113 is the MWC rather than the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical?

So cool Jay. Thanks alot !  It's incredible learning about, and just seeing
all of these in one place like this. Honestly are all kind of like concept cars, or
watches actually. Where much of the design ideas, along with capabilities would
eventually be passed down to regular every day watches. It's amazing how far
ahead of their times these marvels were, and still are. :o

Thanks once again !!!

They can put out some decent articles from time to time when it's not an advertisement for someone specific.

Yeah, that makes no sense..

Also, interesting info about the Bund. Apparently the Sinn dial on the one we both had was a service dial? I did not know that, I didn't even know Sinn had the contract to service them.

Agree, the Hammy is the obvious choice.

I was aware that Sinn had a contract to service the Bunds but didn't think that necessarily implied that all Sinn-dialed Bunds used service dials. Maybe that's the obvious conclusion, although W.A. Manning's comprehensive survey of the Bund never comes out and says that.

I think I did read that back when I had one, and to me that suggests the opposite, that there were in fact Sinn branded versions. That and the 156 are two I wouldn't mind having back.

Sinn was actually the Heuer distributor in Germany for quite a while, but I hear Jack Heuer and Helmut Sinn had a falling out at some point...
