Interesting release takes you right back to the 70's/80's. Can't imagine these going over well. Won't see any of my $$.
Re: Bulova at Baselworld 2019
They look like fun, but I want a Surfboard.

Just goes to show how taste can vary. I love the Computron and there is a good chance will get the blue display version. I also like the rectangular offerings, especially the salmon coloured dial.

Had an original goldtone Computron a few years ago. Was fun to wear. These seem pretty cool.

Interesting right guys?!! You have the traditional classics with all of the models
in the Joseph Bulova collection, but then crazy cool classics like the Computron
covered. Not to mention the Oceanographers we saw last year !
Wonder what else they have in store this year, or coming up for us.
find the batteries meant for those, or something? Thought I had read that.

Steve, I bet that original Computron was just the best ! ..Wasn't it tough to
find the batteries meant for those, or something? Thought I had read that.
Re: Bulova at Baselworld 2019
Luckily it was fully functional when I bought it Tom. It still was when I sold it, so never had to worry about replacing the batteries. You're right though, batteries were said to be hard to find. Had this super funky 1974 Bulova "Big Block" as well...AtomicTom wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 9:36 amInteresting right guys?!! You have the traditional classics with all of the models

'"they don't make them like that anymore." ..Really is beyond cool imho
sir. Thank you so much for the lesson !
Oh, and wow that "Big Block" is too cool as well ! ..I think I have
seen these before, but never knew their name. Thanks so much for the
look ! ..Love the whole design honestly, and amazing display those look
to have had.
So neat Steve. ..Thanks once again !!!

Re: Bulova at Baselworld 2019
O.K. everyone, and here are couple more new ones to add.
Looks like Bulova has a few new Oceanographers on the way with
both a green dialed with 15 minute scale, and blue dial with orange
15 minute scale. ..Evidently there is a blue dial model with yellow
15 min. scale in the works too.
With just a few of the details including a 44mm stainless steel
case, 200m WR, box sapphire crystal, cross hair dials with neat
markers, and hands, Miyota 821 caliber automatic, and stainless
steel bracelets.
A couple more pictures...

Can see what you guys are saying here. Guess they wanted to keep the price down
a little, or something. ..I think last year they added a special addition which had
a Swiss automatic inside. But then the regular version had this movement inside.

Thanks! My wife wanted to hang it on a wall. She was actually upset when I waxed it.
It’s a great riding board though. I’ll be taking it out tomorrow.

Exactly. Perfect old man cruiser. It just slots in and carves so well.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 6:43 pmit looks like a smooth ride for any wave condition.
I’ve got a couple short boards for when I want to pretend I’m still 25 and a bigger summer log for when it’s kinda flat, but this one is just about perfect - not too big, not too small.

I rode a bunch of fishes back in the day when I was closer the water. And a twinkie for the hot days.Ryeguy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 6:58 pmExactly. Perfect old man cruiser. I remember when you first shard that one with us. Nice board, but I thought you'd hang it on the wall! ....

I don’t win many battles at home, but this was one of the few.
Re: Bulova at Baselworld 2019
I’m now thinking about getting her a board rack for her bike so she can ride to the beach. Maybe another year or so yet, but it won’t be long.

There is actually a little bump today. Surfline says thigh high which is enough for the long board.four20 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 4:51 amGuessing that won't be a Jenness after our lunch cruise the other day lolRyeguy wrote:Thanks! I’m getting spring fever, so I’ll be out even if it’s only a ripple.
