i was waiting for Basel and given how boring it was I’ll be getting a Northflag or in house Pelagos
Well, IIRC, you have not have had an in-house Pelagos before, so it would sort of be like number 1, not number 11
Agree about Tudor, sort of the reverse of last year. I still want a BB GMT, but not willing to pay over MSRP for new (or even used!). Would also like to try one on to see if it's for me. Been waiting, still waiting.
Bb58 really going over msrp?

No, just the BB GMT, not the 58 (possibly because of the GMT mvmt date wheel issue limiting supply, at least I hope that's what it is, if it's the Rolex "limit supply strategy for hot SS watches", then that would suck).

Still this after 4 days. So much to love about these, especially paired with the USGL831.

I've been informed it is intentional. Again not sure how certain thia information is but it is what I would call a strong source. I don't understand why they, Rolex and others are doing it.

If that's true that it's intentional (which is not hard to believe), that's really a shame. I don't understand it either. If it was my business, I'd try to sell as many as I could, as this strategy only seems to help the grey dealers they are supposedly trying to curtail (who get a piece at MSRP and then sell it for double in the case of a number of Rolex SS models). I understand wanting to make the watches desirable, and rarer, but if I could walk in and buy a Daytona, or BLRO/BLNR, I'd be much more likely to do so as opposed to this strategy where I'm unlikely to ever purchase one.
