Has there ever been a blander watch? Perfect for an albino.

On a whole, Basel has been one big disappointment...and probably a good reason to kill it....

These are not even worth discussing. And don’t even look at prices.
Stan, don’t you know the first law of physics? Anything that’s fun costs at least eight dollars”
-- Eric Cartman

“To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due.”
― Neil Gaiman, The Sandman

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong
And If I have trouble the warranty said
Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On

- Jimmy Buffett

I think Nomos is a bit the plain sister version of the macho Bremont, you ought to like them but never quite enough to pull the trigger. It's like an expensive first date and no follow up

Big difference in the actual “watchmaking” status between those two brands, but I see where you’re coming from in aesthetics.

They also announced a 42mm Nomos Club Sport with 30atm water resistance.

I sort of like that one on the left. The super long lugs are getting dumber and dumber though. It made sense on a 35mm watch. Less so in a full sized one.

Exactly. The dial itself is great.

I'd be interested in seeing that watch in person. A 42mm Nomos would be enormous.

I like the stepped lugs on the square model

So still comfortably smaller than that awful Tudor. :headbang:

Lugs 52mm on a all dial 42mm watch crazy. When I first looked at nomos I felt they were too small, then thought they were just right as my taste changed, now 42x52 is silly big.

42mm Club is a odd watch in person. The 38 is perfect for the style.
