Post by AtomicTom » Wed Mar 20, 2019 10:04 am

Has everyone checked out Citizen's Caliber 0100 Watches by chance?
Guess they are being unveiled at Baselworld 2019 guys.

These three new limited edition Caliber 0100 watches include a White
Gold AQ6010-06A model, Super Titanium AQ6021-51E model with a
metallic black dial, and then Super Titanium AQ6020-53X with eye-
catching MOP dial.

All with 37.5mm case size, 50m WR, cool hands, and markers,
Caliber 0100 Eco-Drive movement which is accurate to +-1second
a year, sleek bracelets, and leather straps, and more.

Have a few pics below...

^^^Sweet! I like how them sunk in the lume on the markers also.

That bracelet reminds me of the one that I think Bulova used a while back. It is like a modern beads of rice. Super comfy!

Agree I like the MOP. I’d buy for $740.

Just posted about this in the seiko thread.

Meanwhile, citizen comes out with the first interesting watch at Basel 2019

Quartz, accuracy of +/-1 second per YEAR, solar, clean design, no shitty power reserve on the dial, 37.5mm x 9.1mm thickness.

Did they 100% nail it?
Of course not. LEs start at $7400 (the pictured one is above $15000).

I would guess regular editions will be priced much cheaper though.

Definitely interested, even if Citizen high end watches have always underwhelmed me in real life.

Oops, sorry Andrea, didn't realize you had these covered already.
..They are so cool though, they deserve twice the coverage I guess.
