Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
Is it me or is super sized crowns becoming the thing?
Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
it's supposed to mimic the crown from the old dashboard timers...

Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
That's not a bad thing. Lots of great deals for people who know what they like and are lucky not to like what everyone else does.
Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
I know it's a pilot-theme but no screw down crown still bothers me
Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
One of my favorite watches was my Fortis B-42 without the screw down crown. I took it on several vacations and swam with it without any issues.

$3500? Ambitious.

Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
The case back and pics from BW seems to confirm that these watches are indeed aviation-themed:logan2z wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 5:25 pmReally? Doesn't look anything like those (thank goodness). Hodinkee made a point of saying that these represented the 'avia' part of 'Autavia'. So more aviation than automotive
Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
There is a non-chrono Navitimer posted now too. WTF

That logo looks like a time lapse of meatspin.com
Re: TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph
Have you seen what watch companies are charging lately? $3500 is basically nothing. Not to mention greys will have These for $2800. I’m getting at least the blue, maybe the brown. I love them. Fuck Rolex and their motherfucking “sorrry you can’t buy one of our hand-made mass-produced watches without sucking off an AD to get out on a waitlist” bullshit.
