Not fake news:

Prototype was real after all:

From the BB58 and the Pepsi GMT to this... What a downer.

Awful, just awful. Basel 2019 is a bust for Rolex and Tudor.

The best model from Rolex this year was the slightly less bloated datejust. I’m glad the jubilee is spreading to their gmt’s though.

Two-tone Seadwelller with cyclops, WTF
No wonder discontinued 40mm SDC goes for 12K

I’m actually relieved there’s nothing I’m super excited about this year. Gives me a chance to sit back and enjoy what I’ve got.

Rolex is slowly killing the Sea-Dweller

And I’m really really surprised that Tudor didn’t show any other 58 colorways.

Not every old watch is "legendary" and worthy of a re-issue...

I actually like the Tudor SKX (not the old one). The Sea Dweller (now Corvette Dweller) is just a more expensive Sub for guys who want or need a giant watch. Of course, they're dragging the Sea Dweller name through shit, but I guess Submariner XL didn't test well.

Agreed. The BLNR/Jubilee is the only thing from both brands that's even remotely interesting to me (besides last years BBGMT which has a date wheel issue and you still can't find one for MSRP a *year* later).

The BB P01 looks goofy.

And then there's this? Personally I dislike Gold or TT, but that's a matter of taste. Would have liked to see the SS BB Chrono with a black bezel, but instead they came out with this.

That YM is pure hotness. I love it. Sadly it's a 42mm and costs a billion dollars since it's WG.

It does look good, not everyone likes rose gold. It will sell.

It's possibly the first fat case watch that I actually want. Release that in 40mm SS

YM is the winner of the bunch. I’m strangely attracted to the SKXflake on strap. Def need to see it in person. At least it has lug holes.

The new DJ is a winner too. All in all, a very shitty Basel for Rolex.

I just heard Bear Grylls has become a Tudor ambassador, he will showcase this watch... while drinking his own pee.

The BB58 in all colors will come for 2020.

And where the hell is the 40mm Pelagos that I need??!?!?!

I figured that those end links had to pop up so you can use the bezel. They are a locking system of sorts.
Maybe this is all a bad dream lol. It’s such an ugly, gimmicky watch.
