AP Bands 24mm NATO.... $189

Post by spring-diver » Mon Mar 18, 2019 1:43 pm

I saw these on FB the other day. I asked the what makes them so special. Their reply: “the hardware”

They look great but not $189 great.

What do you think?

Neither. It would be 5 times the cost, or more.

So I was expecting to see some type of NATO that would fit an AP Diver and its unique lugs, which would be cool. This ... not so much.

dang you think for $189 they would have at least etched the buckle and instead of printing on top of it.

Bingo

They look just like Terry’s standard webbing and the keepers are almost identical as well.

I just can’t wrap my head around the cost. $189 for what? At best, it’s a $25 strap.

Better question is... does it at least come with a reach around while they’re sticking you from behind?

You guys seem to think the acronym stands for Audemars Piguet, but it obviously stands for Asinine Pricing.

I guess if you can pay the absurd prices for their watches, a $200 strap with their initials on it is pocket change.
