Re: Watch box/storage?
Ordered a “Case Club” pelican style case from amazon. Case looks and feels great, but the foam inserts could hold the watches tighter. I cut some excess foam to make them fit better. Pleased with the purchase. And, as you can see, there is space for one more Seiko

Re: Watch box/storage?
I can't remember if I have posted this before. Currently under construction, still got a bit more to do. Should hold around 52 watches once done

I don't know if you checked it out yet, but he does makes smaller sized ones.rockmastermike wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 9:34 amThat’s nice - don’t need one that big (that’s what she said)unsub073 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 8:21 amI just picked up one of these of Etsy. I can't speak to the long term durability of it yet, but it looks good.

Re: Watch box/storage?
It used to be an old scientific instrument box. Lid is padded with foam covered in velvet, as is inside box. Watch dividers covered in black suede effect material and will soon have velvet covered foam linings. Lift out trays will be similargwells wrote:nice. is that velvet lining or flocking?stonehead887 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 5:31 amI can't remember if I have posted this before. I picked up one of these last week from Cabela's for another application but it would work great. I would assume you can also find them at Bass Pro if there's in you area

That looks like a nice case to store my roscoe. May have to take a trip north to pick one up.four20 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:46 pmI picked up one of these last week from Cabela's for another application but it would work great. Check the stock before you go. The sales guy I talked to said they get some in and all disappear the same dayRyeguy wrote:That looks like a nice case to store my roscoe. Re: Watch box/storage?
I have a pelican 1200 case that has been great. Plucked enough foam out to hold 6 watches perfectly.
I have a boy with special needs and he will ransack the house from time to time. I don't have to worry about the watches being destroyed in the pelican. They are locked tight in a cocoon of foam.

Re: Watch box/storage?
I’ve ordered custom foam from mycasebuilder.com for a couple pelicans. I use pipe insulation for the inserts.
