I’ve held off on banning him because I’m still hoping he’ll come to his senses and make this right, one way or another.

As far as I can tell that’s him.

I googled the cell phone number he gave me and has been communicating me with and it matches up to this and the address

The average time that I've spent making funeral arrangements, burying each loved one, and grieving was 7-8 days..
Then I had to get my ass back into the real world and contribute. His two month fuck off period is unacceptable.

Well, from the recent reviews of his business, I think you should count yourself lucky you only got taken for $250.

You can read one review on the BBB website. Another couple of not satisfied customers on Yelp here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-stoddard-g ... capistrano

Notice he used the same comment, that he would “make it right” with one of his clients?

Asshole for sure.

His number is out of service.

Let’s be glad it was a couple hundred and not many thousands like the people who trusted him with asset management.

Isn’t he the one who had a sob story about how his wife left him and his daughter, she was Filipino or something? And he raises her on his own? Yeah I don’t believe a word of that.

I’m floored. He took forever with me but sent me the money back after saying he couldn’t ship from where he was.

If you want to PM me I can give you the contact info I have. Maybe it’ll help?

So sorry dude. I was literally there not too long ago myself.

Oh damn, he's close to me. Looks like he may no longer have his office, but I'll try to drive by soon.

I'm guessing his office is closed. In my limited on-line snooping I found his CA insurance brokerage license lapsed this past January and there is no registration under his name or his business' name as a financial planner or legal document administrator (in CA). Given his age and whatever he has going on in his personal life, I'm guessing he closed his business. The website is probably the last thing remaining.

So would it be too late to surmise that he must have sucked as a financial planner.
