That's what I use as well. Imgur will give you the bbcode that you can use to post images directly to the forum in a variety of sizes. Works very well, I've been using it for years.

I’ll be Negative Nancy; it’s not worth the hassle.

I got some help there and now post pictures on WUS directly from my downloads.


Keep telling myself I'll try Google or something else instead of Imgur; looking forward to other suggestions.

I take a pic with my iPhone, maybe a little edit/enhance and then directly uploaded to Tapatalk...

Way too much work on my phone to go make an account somewhere else, load a pic, get a code for the pic, come back here and use the right bracket system to encode picture link, post.

I have never had a problem posting an image on WUS using imgur, although I haven't tried very recently. What was the problem you ran into?

Imgur not working on WUS is a recent development, AFAIK. I find it's spotty, but I read something that it's intentional.

Imgur works 100% of the time here. Their mobile app is great for uploading, horrible for hotlinking, but I can do that through the imgur mobile site.

There's also the option to upload photos as attachments here.

Weird, I assume they still recognize the standard [img] bbcode and the imgur link is just a standard url. Maybe they're explicitly blocking imgur for some reason. Works just fine here though.

Imgur is not working with WUS currently. All of my pics on my last sales posts would not load up on WUS. They would load on DWC and on Tapatalk with no problem. I had to post them through Photobucket to work correctly on WUS. I’m sure there is another way but that was my workaround.

This^^^Definitely not going back to photobucket as that was a pain in the ass. Hopefully there's something else out there that is as quick and easy to use as Tapatalk is for me.

After trying a few options I now stick with postimage. In there I made albums for pics of each brand and model of my watches and of course a DWC birthdays album. Upload pic to an album then click on the hotlink for forums option to paste it on here. I always used photobucket until their crazy price demand.

I use flickr, but I cant find the forums posting link for my photos.

Photobucket app is crashing on my phone.

Can you copy the link from the imgur app?

You can Joe. On an iPhone, when you tap on the pic in Imgur a little mail box appears. Tap on that and then hit copy link on the next page that pops up. It’s easy.

I've not figured out how to get links from Google Photos to work.

I stay logged in using Chrome on my phone, and the mobile browser is great. Switched to Google Photos last year. It’s not difficult, but not intuitive. You open another browser tab, open Google Photos, and upload pics from your phone to your Google Photos album. Then right click (ie press/hold image on iPhone) to open that photo in a new tab. That URL is what you copy/paste into the link. If it doesn’t show up when you preview the post, add -tmp.jpg at the very end of the URL.

Imgur (or pulling an image off a Google search). The only issue I run into is with my phone, it's hard to get the photo link in between the photo insert brackets, but I manage. And that's not an issue with an Imgur photo - just with a photo or gif or something that I pull off of the internet.
