Dan Henry 1964 Gran Turismo

Post by Steve O. » Mon Feb 25, 2019 3:14 pm

I really like the vintage look of this new(ish) addition to the Dan Henry lineup. I'm good with the Seiko Meca-Quartz movement, love the beads of rice bracelet, but am not so sure about the 38mm case size. I realize that the size is a nod to many chronographs produced in the 1960's, and own a few 38mm vintage divers. I think that they look fine despite my large wrist, but have never had a 38mm chrono.

Thought that I'd see if anyone here owns one, and if so, what your impressions are. Thanks.

I don’t own one but I’d bet that would wear larger than the specs suggest since it’s all dial.

Also don't own one Steve, but like Andrew think these probably wear a little
bigger than that 38mm. Just the dial seems like it goes right up to the edge
of the case, and then you have the crown, and pushers there as well !

In any case, think they are terrific from the BOR bracelet, to mech-quartz
inside sir. ..Kind of almost has a Hamilton Intra-Matic feel to it.
