My SBBN007 "Tuna" has been running off its original Seiko SB-A8 (SR43SW equivalent) battery for 10 years and 3 months.
I'm going to replace it for peace of mind. I'm having a hard time finding the Seiko-branded battery. What's the next-best brand (the least leak-prone)? Is Renata ok?
Thanks!

Re: Least Leak-Prone Watch Battery
My watchmaker gave me the name of a Swiss made battery. Of course I can’t remember the name, but he highly recommended it as the safest.

I’ve replaced my batteries with Renata batteries if they weren’t already using one. I’ve had great experience with them and they’ve been known to last years.
They’re owned by Swatch group if that means anything to you

I think those were recommended to me.
