Omega Planet Ocean GMT
Still miss that one, but glad you are enjoying it. As you said, Omegas are generally pretty accurate - that one too - was always very accurate for me.
Probably biggest pleasant-surprise purchase of last year. Thanks for introducing me!
How is Omega's case and bracelet finishing these days? This looks a lot nicer than they used to be.
Omega has always been solid on the finishing, IMO. Sharp distinction between brushed and polished finishes, which I always loved on the 3570 speedies and 2500 POs.
On the recent watches, I had poor endlink fit on the Aqua Terra GMT chrono I had awhile back, but I don’t think PO endlink fit has ever been a problem (and it’s not on this one either).

The big let down for me has always been the clasps. My Speedy and PO2500 have sharp edges on the clasps, while all my Rolex are silky smooth all over. That sucks that they haven't fixed the end link fit. That has always been shoddy (outside of the PO, as you say).

No surprise here - can’t take it off
Btw, I set this watch upon receipt and haven’t reset it since - and it’s been a few weeks now. Gains a second during the day and loses one at night, crown up. Tightest auto I’ve ever had.

That looks like a keeper
Keeper? With me? Bro I have never kept any watch to long. I think my longest one now is the Tockr Air Defender and the Scurfa DIver 1. But who knows. It is a great alternative and at the price point I won't cry.

What about your toilet watch or the roadkill air king or that one Seiko you told me you put in your butt that one time when you drank a little too much wine, you surely didn't sell that one right?

I often look at watch recon with my daughter (she's almost 6). Yesterday she got a glimpse of one of these and I was scrolling through. She stopped me and wanted to see it. She said "Oh my gosh, what is that?! It's so weird looking!!!"
