Yep my money is still on a 39mm, case in ceratanium, no-date pilot.
That's very specific
We have found our Hodinkee insider!
Hahaha I've met Hodinkee employees at their events and I can tell you, they won't release details of anything. They relish keeping things secret until release when it comes to their business.
IWC employees however, it's just another watch to them. They're just proud to show off their work and new materials.

I’d rather have an Explorer.
Yeah well but does it says Hodinkee on the case back?

Not sure why they didn’t do a similar style/size chronograph. That would have been hot.

It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now

It is the first IWC Mark (whatever) other than the big pilot that I like.

Well now out of my cart.

Sellita.
Well now out of my cart.
I completely overlooked that and just assumed it was in house for $6400 That price is ludicrous.

It was a big surprise to me. I would have expected the newer movements.

That's what I assumed as well. Well, I see one is now required to join the wait-list so I guess they are selling well enough

You obviously missed the fact that it says 'Hodinkee' on the back

IWC always seems to do the minimum necessary. It's not a surprise. I would actually be surprised if they bothered to fit a movement that didn't retain its useless date setting position on the crown.

I wondered about that too. For $1K Stowa removes the date position in it's no-date pilots.

I remember Adam making excuses about why IWC didn't remove it on some previous LE (maybe the Cock Fucker LE that Terry was talking about). I'd be surprised if they bothered to do it this time, when Hodinkee is taking a cut of each sale.
