I still think Hodookie will make something nice.
Which watch is Adams based off of ?

It looks like an oddball variant of the Mark XVIII 'Tribute to Mark XI' to my eyes.BBK357 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 1:30 pmJP Chestnut wrote:The CF watches have always been a minor tweak to an existing watch (dlc 3227 w/ different dial, spitfire without stupid date window, etc.). One you can’t buy in flyover country.
It looks like a different dial on a regular mark xxxxxvvvvvvvviiiii case. Dateless I think, and probably still having the date functionality in the movement, because why do a good job when people still buy?

I think a good hodinkee would have been a 3706 remake without fake aged lume

Aim higher: 3705
A normal sized ceramic cased chronograph. People would go crazy.

Looks like Ken is right. $6400, not as bad as I thought it would be.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong

I have a lot of friends that BS about knowing watch industry info all the time but sometimes I guess they tell the truth. Totally thought they were messing with me when they just agreed with me.
These are the specs I guessed Hodinkee most likely would choose based on what I think they would design, but I didn't think they'd really get to use ceratanium.
