Every single watch is a copy. I guess it’s legal because it doesn’t say Rolex or Panerai, etc, but wow..

In other news, Batman called; he wants his motorcycle back.
Re: Blackout concept - how is this legal
That really is something Paul. Wow is right !!!
Most of the watches are identical in every way to the original, but it's just
their name like you said that makes them different. I know a lot of different
brands have homage watches that are often similar, or close to the original,
or originals, but they seem to just have a ton that are near clones.

Yep, they buy from the Noob clone factory in China and install their own dials. Or the Noob factory is printing dials for them and shipping them completed watches.
Definitely connections to the replica watch market.

Re: Blackout concept - how is this legal
I'm not sure how these are different than other "homages". People have been making Rolex fakes forever, with just a name change.

Guess there will always be a market for fake/copy/replica watches out there.
Just another way the fake/wanna be people try and show off what they are not. Never understood that either.

Re: Blackout concept - how is this legal
I actually don’t have a problem with the occasional sub homage, especially if they offer a twist or put in a decent movement, ratcheting clasp, crazy lume, maybe a T-shirt and a bj, but this “company” just went full bore lol

Is this considered a homage because there are subtle differences? Hands, markers, and date are all slightly different.

Re: Blackout concept - how is this legal
Even if all of those things were the same as the original, it would be considered an homage since it doesn't say 'Blancpain' on the dial. A slim but important difference between 'homage' and 'fake'. Either way it's theft, IMHO.

I must admit, their Disney watches are alright.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.
