More.

Just more.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now

My SLA017 has checked a lot of boxes for me on dive watch desires, but the BB58 still has my attention. I could see adding one of those to the box next year.

Like Joe, the Hamilton Chrono is also on the list, but I find the chronograph function more academically interesting than practical for my timing purposes.

I've got a few family trips planned this year (taking the crew back to HI and then to Ireland) so I'll be on a bit of a budget regarding my watch war chest. I'll need to do some spring cleaning prior to making any big purchases. Also, my ADD might kick in and cause me to purchase a new MT bike (Erik is convincing me on the fat tire utility) or a new surf board, so I never really know how the year will shape up.

Genuinely pretty happy with the collection at the moment, but would love a Polaris or a Geophysic. Also passed on a two-tone Seamaster 300 Master Co-Ax this year, and wouldn't mind making that right.

Possibly one or two of these: BB58-16600-SubC.

I don’t really know. I do want the IWC 3777-24 (3706 reissue), but I haven’t seen them available yet.

Kinda want to try some gold this year too, but not sure what yet.

Ever since it came back from service, I’ve really grown attached to the Aquatimer, so I’m not that fired up about anything new. If I were to go looking though, I’m thinking a GMT, either Tudor or Grand Seiko.

My goal is to sell and not buy
Definitely planning to not buy. I can more than live with what I have now, but that never seems to stop any of us from getting more.

If I had the means that would be the gold sport watch to have. I love it.

Only plan on one watch in the near/mid term, the BB GMT. They seem very hard to come by, maybe the movement date issue curbed supply? Went into Fortaine in Carmel and they said they have only seen a couple of them in months, so hopefully the flood gates will open up soon (fwiw, they have a huge Rolex selection and had zero SS sport models - yep, shocker).

Ares will be showing up sometime, looking forward to that.

After that, the new Omega SM300 is about the only thing that's in the back of my mind, have to see one in person first - then black or blue would probably be a difficult decision. But, something would have to go for the SM300 to happen, and I like everything I've got, so that's a problem (maybe sell my current SM300 MC to help fund it  ).

An "affordable" blue dial diver at some point in the year.

Hold on to what I have. I’m pretty damn happy with what I have currently.

Maybe actually service one of them before they’re all due at the same time.

Updated goal (one of my resolutions is to focus and make a decision): A black faced AP 15400. If I can ever find one at a reasonable price...

Great advice. Watching a pile of watches sit unworn is stressful.

Goal is to maintain a one in, one out (hopefully two!) policy. Have way too many watches now (16).

I’m pretty happy where I am, but maybe just something inexpensive with a light dial. Or a Sinn T1, or a DOXA 50th, or another Tuna, or a Nomos, or... Oh well, the best laid plans of mice and men.

Same as every year, sell more than I buy.

And, I'm sure, same as every year, I will fail. :)
100% this.
