Ohhh not good. Not at all. Beyond the terrible design, I always dislike the dumb 3 date (or gmt) window cutout on any watch.

X2. It always reminds me of a bathroom scale.

If you can't use the logical solution of a fourth hand to monitor the second time zone, at least use something like Alpina's rotating disc. This just looks like a second, poorly placed, date window.

Yeah, that. Looks a bit like it’s 25 o’clock on the 22nd.

Have to be totally honest Paul. Actually like it a lot !!! :)

It gives you the best of two watch worlds in a dive, but also pilot's, or aviation
at the same time. :o Genuinely helps in not be cookie cutter-like, and even has
a vintage spirit with the way the world time bezel is done. Think it's terrific !

Thanks so much for the look at it !

There are some things to like about it. Maybe next version will be better.

A smaller crown would help, style wise.

Change the crown, give it one lume colour and find a better second hour display and they could be on to something.

I like the shape of the case and the hands. The date window itself is unobtrusive. The Arabic numerals on the dial are nice.

That said:

- There is no need to have a city dial AND a numeric GMT representation (but then I'm not sure what they'd put on the bezel).

- The size of the crown is completely disproportionate to the size of the case.

- The aforementioned GMT cutout - it's bad.

- I don't like the combination of white and ecru markings. Pick one or the other.

- Timezoner? Really??

The GMT time is adjusted by turning the bezel, so the bezel indicates the timezone you want to adjust to.

(I’m assuming it works like the previous version of the timezoner, I haven’t actually read the specs)

Looks like a big pilot had a threeway with the old timezoner and a spitfire, gonna be a real beefy watch at 46mm

I would prefer a bigger crown, more stuff on the bezel, a bigger font for the “TIMEZONER” name (cause it’s just so bad a$$) and instead of diffent colors for the hands and numbers (?), maybe a THIRD color, potentially black out ‘cause that’s in these days. Wrap that puppy up and I’m in for twice the price but at least increase it to 50mm

That’s a Shitfire. I guess Kerns wasn’t the only person at IWC who sucks.

That 12 o'clock marker looks like a person with eyes and a big nose. And never been a fan of those horrible, horrible crowns. And that terrible bezel sticking out like some wart! But I am just to picky about most watches have been saving money for the last year and a half just can't find a watch I like enough. Just getting to picky and grumpier as I get older.

I loved that they took out the chronograph, but it's the same damned movement as before (bezel inexplicably adjusts both hour and 24-hour indicators simultaneously), making this a glorified 3-hander with an AM/PM indicator. Far from the proper travel watch that it is pretending to be.
