Dan Henry 1972 Alarm Chronograph... anyone heard of the brand?
Dan Henry watches, I haven't heard (or read) of them until I saw this version, which actually looks very cool. Any information on the brand?

I have no interest on the alarm, and even though I'm not big on homages (and would probably not stick), its a cool looking watch that could make me search for a Porsche design, Sinn, Chornoswiss or Bell & Ross watches that inspired it (or have similar designs).
Great size too: 41mm case and a hair under 46mm lug to lug.

Read the article yesterday, I think the brand is fairly new.
Haven't owned one yet, but I also like the Chrono.

Dan Henry's been around for a while now. Nice, well made watches at a reasonable price point. My favorites are the 1970 Compressor style diver and the vintage look 1963 chrono.

They have been around about 2 years. Dan Henry is a big vintage collector and started his own brand with vintage inspired pieces.
Their watches are generally nice for the very low price. The quality is surprising.
This new model is first to use actual sapphire though, all others have a sapphire coated mineral.

Damn Joe where have you been hiding???
I met him at last years Wind Up and he is a really cool dude. Super friendly and easy to talk to. Honestly I don't know how much he really knows about watches but from I have seen in person I like what he is doing. Basically he is doing re-editions it seems at a budget price.
