Ball Hydrocarbon Chronograph (Now Discontinued)

Post by kurt behm » Wed Nov 14, 2018 3:13 pm

Got lucky with this one, and —it's like brand new! The case and bracelet are as good as anything
I've owned. The action on the pushers feels like a Rolex or AP.

My I-Phone can't get macro enough to pick up the guilloche on the dial.

Can't wait for it to get dark to check the lume.

Ball! One of my favorite brands - super high quality. Lume is nuclear.

I’ve three different versions of that exact watch. Always looks big in pictures, but wears great.

Congrats!!

Really enjoy the Ball Fireman I picked up a couple months ago. Great quality and lume rocks.

Paul nailed it when saying they look like they would wear huge and beastly, but they dont at all...super curved lugs make it great even on small wrists like me.

Beautiful! Congrats. I've always liked the Hydrocarbon Chronographs. I wonder if they have discontinued these because they are coming out with the new Submarine Warfare?

Can see the decoration of the dial perfectly from here Kurt, and can just imagine
the weight, and all around quality also ! :excited: ..Love the extraordinary cases on these,
and just the whole look of the dials. They feel so far ahead of their time !!! :headbang:

A big congrats to you ! ..Hope you enjoy !!!

Wow so nice. It’s a brand I’ve always wanted to add but the curved lugs on my ham hock might not work

Just finished building a house and might have to sell off some of the collection so I thought I’d try logging back on and see if it worked.

I don’t want to admit this but it’s been so long since I’ve been in the forums I can’t access my photobucket anymore.

I’ll try and work out how to post a photo
